Denoiser presents a 90 minute karaoke concert. I selected pop-hits and combined them in a way that profane love songs turn into the treatise “Artwork and spectator”. Several questions like “What is art without the spectator?” and “What is he viewing: The piece of art or his view of it?” are treated in this installation with a wink.
The songs are selected in a way that they should at least be partly known by an audience aged 16 to 70. It is very likely that the spectators can make a conclusion between the lyrics, the movement of the lips and the music. In the best case I am creating a catchy tune without it being audible.
